Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily desktop operations, including IT support, system maintenance, and end-user services.
- Lead IT projects from planning to execution, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organisational objectives.
- Oversee IT service delivery, monitoring KPIs, SLA adherence, and continuous service improvements.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to address operational issues and project requirements.
- Develop and implement IT policies, operational processes, and documentation for consistent service quality.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to IT staff, ensuring performance, skills development, and adherence to procedures.
- Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and external partners to maintain IT systems and infrastructure.
- Report regularly on operational performance, project status, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT operations management, project management, or service delivery, preferably in a government or enterprise environment.
- Strong understanding of IT service management frameworks (ITIL) and project management methodologies (PMP, Agile).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset with a focus on process improvement.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, teams, and projects in a dynamic environment.
