Role Overview

On-site technical lead responsible for end-user support, system administration, and IT infrastructure maintenance. This role balances day-to-day troubleshooting with vendor coordination and project execution.

Core Responsibilities
Technical Support & Maintenance
  • On-Site Helpdesk: Resolve hardware, software, and peripheral issues for all end-users.
  • Systems Setup: Execute standard client system imaging, configuration, and patching.
  • Hardware Lifecycle: Install and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and auxiliary IT equipment.
  • Documentation: Maintain logs of system changes, resolution steps, and technical upgrades.
System Administration & Operations
  • Directory Services: Manage Active Directory (AD) domains and Group Policy Objects (GPO).
  • Asset Management: Oversee IT procurement, asset tracking, and maintenance contract administration.
  • Compliance: Enforce internal IT policies and security procedures across all workstations.
  • Training: Conduct technical briefings and training sessions for end-users.
Liaison & Project Support
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with third-party vendors and contractors for hardware repairs and project implementations.
  • Project Assistance: Support office relocations, hardware refreshes, and large-scale system deployments.
Technical Qualifications
  • Experience: 1–2 years in Desktop Support or IT Helpdesk environments.
  • Networking: Knowledge of IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and LAN/WAN troubleshooting.
  • Admin Tools: Proficiency in Active Directory and GPO management.
