Job description

SUMMARY

Candidate will support Desktop Engineer with the installation, maintenance and repairs of computer hardware and software. He/she will provide technology support to walk-in customers, existing orders and customers who require off-site assistance.

This position is a full-time position and is based in Singapore.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Understand the company structure, brand and work environment in the IT sector
• Coordinate installation and set-up of desktop computer hardware and software
• Perform setting up of PCs
• Understand merchandise display
• Understand the specs and uses for customised PCs
• Attend to customers
• Handle enquiries and feedback
• Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex PC problems for end users
• Understand inventory storage and replenishment processes

• Candidates are required to handle heavy equipment / desktop builds
• Intermediate to advanced computer component knowledge
