The jobholder will lead, develop and manage the planning, implementation and operations of the ICT Application Systems, so as to ensure that the applications provide a scalable, robust, reliable and responsive platform for the smooth delivery of IT services thereby contributing to the NLB’s vision and mission.

What you will be working on:
  • Develop the annual IT workplan and programs in alignment to the firm-wide Digital Strategy, NLB-LAB and Whole-of-Government initiatives.
  • Provide direction and guidance to the team in the implementation and support operations of applications which are very key in supporting the business operation.
  • Oversee and establish tight contract and vendor management in the development and operations of the applications systems.
  • Conceptualize innovative solutions to meet business needs and to support Digital transformation.
  • Oversee the career development of staff in the Application department.
  • Plan and manage the implementation of IT Security policies for the applications/systems under the department.
  • Establish and forge close working relationship with Users / Partners at the management level.
What we are looking for:
  • 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in IT application development, management knowledge and project management
  • At least 5 years of experience in management capacity
  • Project management certification or equivalent experience required
  • Familiarity with current IT technologies and Agile methodologies
  • Experience in building project management teams and managing / mentoring junior resources and direct reports

The successful applicant will be appointed on a two-year contract.

The work location will be at ESR BizPark @ Chai Chee.
