Job description

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3-4 years of working experience with MSS SQL development and database administration
• Certifications related to database technologies (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate).

Experience and skills

• writing queries and stored procedure
• maintenance including indexing, tuning of the queries and jobs
• Knowledge of cloud-based database platforms (e.g., Amazon RDS, Azure SQL Database).
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies.
• Understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
• Understanding of database security principles and experience implementing security controls.
• Experience with database backup and recovery strategies.
