Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Database Analyst to lead the design, implementation, and management of our internal financial data infrastructure. In this role, you will be the architect of a robust database system that consolidates critical information from banks and brokers. Beyond technical infrastructure, you will play a key role in transforming raw data into actionable insights through advanced analytics, reporting, and visualization, supporting our strategic decision‑making processes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Database Architecture & Design

• Design and Implement: Build an internal database from the ground up, specifically designed to ingest and store financial data from various banks and brokerage firms.
  
• Schema & Modeling: Create and Maintain complex database schemas, data models, and systems that ensure data integrity and high performance.
• Pipeline Management: Develop automated processes to collect and sync data from external financial institutions and other market sources.

2. Data Analytics & Insights

• Collect & Clean:
  Gather data from diverse sources, ensuring rigorous cleaning and validation for maximum accuracy.
  
• Statistical Analysis:
  Identify patterns, market trends, and hidden relationships using statistical methods to drive market analysis (Additional).
  
• Visualization: Build and maintain interactive dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and visual reports that allow stakeholders to monitor performance at a glance.

3. Collaboration & Strategy

• Stakeholder Engagement:
  Act as a bridge between management, internal accountants, and external financial partners to ensure data needs are met.
  
• Strategic Planning: Assist in defining long‑term data collection strategies and identifying new data sources to enhance reporting capabilities.
  
• Problem Solving: Proactively address data discrepancies and technical issues while recommending data‑driven solutions to business challenges.

Qualifications & Skills

Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Fintech, Data Analytics, or a related field.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in SQL, Python/R, and database management systems (MySQL, etc.).

Experience

Proven experience in database design, ETL processes, and financial data modeling and reporting.

Tools

Experience with visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and financial reporting software. Advanced knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite, especially in Microsoft Excel and use of Macros

Soft Skills

Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to explain complex data to non‑technical stakeholders.
