Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field is required.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience with AI tools in data analysis is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to generating and delivering industry-leading risk metrics for Moody’s Analytics products.
• Monitor and analyze data quality trends to improve accuracy and consistency.
• Build reports using business intelligence tools to highlight data trends.

Skills

Superb analytical skills with a strong ability to solve problems, learn independently, and work with complex datasets

Proficiency in SQL (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and scripting languages like Python

Strong logical thinking and ability to develop robust code for data analysis and quality control processes

Excellent written and oral communication skills, with keen attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements such as 10Ks and 10Qs, with knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and other accounting principles

Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Operations, Engineering, or a related field

At least 1-2 years of relevant experience

Graduate degree and/or relevant certifications are a plus
