Job summary

ARISTON SERVICES PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Data Centre Operations professional to support mission critical facilities on a 12-hour rotating shift, across multiple sites.

You will perform day-to-day data centre tasks, manage keys, escort vendors, run infrastructure checks and assist with server power-ups and degaussing. The role requires at least 5 years in data centre operations, experience in high-pressure 24x7 on-call environments, ITIL-based incident and change processes, vendor

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years Data Centre operations experience, preferably in a team.
• Experience working in a high-pressure environment with 24x7 on-call responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of incident, problem and change management procedures based on ITIL best practices.
• Experienced in supporting Data Centre vendors, out-sourcing vendors.
• Ability to quickly learn and effectively utilize in-house software.
• Demonstrate strong multitasking capabilities and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in-writing.
• Possesses a strong work ethic and a proactive approach to tasks.
• An analytical and inquiring mind to derive innovative solutions.
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Must have experience working in data centre operations in financial institutions.

Responsibilities

• Support data centre operations tasks and duties.
• Perform day-to-day data centre / computer operations duties (key management, escorting vendors, facilities infrastructure checks, powering-up of onboarded servers, degaussing, routine checks, laptop management).
• Strong ability to support activities in data centre and secure rooms.
• Ensure data centre procedures are followed strictly.
• Ensure prompt escalation of all incidents, adhering to the standard incident response procedure, and track each incident to its complete resolution.
• To generate reports to management.
• Any other duties assigned by management.
• Will cover duties as required.
• The candidate will be assigned to a different data centre each month, rotating between East and West locations.
