Job summary

IOTALENTS PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Data Centre Operations Support specialist to maintain mission-critical data centres and secure rooms. The role involves working on a 12-hour rotating shift across multiple sites.

You will perform day-to-day operations, incident response, and coordination with vendors, with monthly rotation between East and West Singapore locations. A background in 24x7 environments and ITIL processes is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of data centre operations experience.
• Experience in high-pressure, 24x7 mission-critical environments.
• Strong ITIL-based incident, problem and change management knowledge.
• Experience coordinating with data centre vendors and outsourced providers.
• Proactive, analytical mindset with strong multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with internal teams and vendors.
• Experience in data centres within financial institutions is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day data centre and computer operations activities, including key management and access control.
• Vendor escort and coordination for on-site activities.
• Data centre facilities and infrastructure checks and power-up of servers.
• Data sanitisation and degaussing activities as required.
• Routine operational checks and laptop/IT equipment management.
• Provide operational support for activities within data centres and secure rooms.
• Ensure all data centre procedures, policies and security requirements are followed.
• Monitor, respond to and escalate incidents per incident response procedures.
• Track incidents to resolution and prepare management reports.
• Rotate assignments to different data centres across East and West Singapore locations.
