Job summary

Xcellink Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a DC Support Engineer to safeguard information systems and enable secure operations. The role covers colocation room control, guided visitor access, monitoring alarms, entry/exit management, shipping/receiving, and remote hands services.

Candidates should have at least 1 year in a DC/IT environment, strong English communication, and team orientation. Work includes shift rotations (8:00 AM–8:00 PM and 8:00 PM–8:00 AM).

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Data Center environment or IT background
• Able to communicate clearly in English
• Able to follow the operation manual
• Team Player
• Shiftwork (8.00AM - 8.00PM / 8.00PM - 8.00AM)
• Good customer care and communication skills
• Able to use PC and office applications

Responsibilities

• Colocation room control and routine patrols with reporting of irregularities
• Guided Access for visitors without Personal ID cards and provide directions
• Monitor and respond to alarms from customer device monitoring system
• Manage data center entry/exit by reviewing pre-entry applications
• Handle shipping and receiving by registering, tagging, and delivering parcels
• Oversee common facility management and scheduling for optimal resource use
• Carry-in/out processing and ensure bookings are properly recorded
• Provide remote hands services and maintain run books for billing
• Notify customers of scheduled maintenance and emergencies
• Handle service desk calls and escalations to supervisor
• Maintain tape handling procedures and data backup loading/unloading
• Generate periodic reports on shifts and daily operations
