Job summary

Xcellink Pte Ltd. is seeking a DC Support Engineer to join our team in Singapore. You will manage colocation room operations, guide visitors, monitor systems, and handle entry/exit processes with a focus on securing operations.

You will also coordinate shipping/receiving, asset management, remote hands, and customer notifications, while delivering service desk support and maintaining quality records. This role requires English communication and 1+ year in data center/IT environments.

Qualifications

• ITE qualification required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Data Center environment or IT background.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English and follow the operation manual.
• Team-oriented with good customer care and communication skills.
• Proficient with PC and office applications.

Responsibilities

• Colocation room control and routine patrols.
• Guide visitors without Personal ID cards and provide directions.
• Monitor alarms and respond to issues in Managed Services.
• Manage data center entry/exit and pre-entry applications.
• Handle shipping and receiving processes and maintain records.
• Oversee rental items, rack shelves, and maintain inventory.
• Carry-in/out processing and scheduling.
• Provide basic remote hands services and log operations for billing.
• Send customer notifications for maintenance and incidents.
• Handle service desk inquiries and escalate when needed.
• Maintain quality reports and handle tape handling activities.
