Fortune 500 Global IT Services Leader is seeking a Data Center Operations support professional in Singapore. The role involves patrolling colocation spaces, guiding visitors, responding to alarms, managing entry processes, and handling shipping/receiving duties to ensure smooth data center operations.

The position requires at least 1 year in a Data Center or IT setting, clear English communication, and the ability to follow standard operating procedures.

Competenze

• ITE (or equivalent) required.
• At least 1 year of experience in Data Center environment or IT background.
• Clear communication in English.
• Ability to follow operation manuals and procedures.
• Team player with good customer care.
• Shift work: 8.00AM–8.00PM or 8.00PM–8.00AM.
• Proficient with PC and office applications.

Mansioni

• Conduct regular patrols of the colocation room and report irregularities.
• Guide visitors without Personal ID cards and provide directions.
• Respond to alarms and address issues from customer monitoring systems.
• Manage data center entry/exit by reviewing pre-entry applications.
• Handle shipping related tasks: receive, check, and tag parcels for delivery.
• Oversee receiving, storage, and handover of parcels to customers.
• Coordinate common facility usage and rental items, ensuring proper inventory.
• Oversee carry-in/carry-out processes and maintain runbooks for logging.
