Job summary

Xcellink Pte Ltd is seeking a Data Center Operations Associate in Singapore to support colocation, access control, monitoring alarms, shipping and receiving, and service desk tasks. You will follow runbooks, maintain logs, and ensure smooth daily operations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires at least 1 year in a data center or IT setting, good English communication, and ability to work in shifts (8:00 AM–8:00 PM or 8:00 PM–8:00 AM).

Qualifications

• ITE diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of data center/IT experience preferred.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Colocation room control and patrols according to schedule.
• Guide visitors without Personal ID cards and direct them.
• Respond to alarms from monitoring systems and coordinate with teams.
• Process and review pre-entry applications for customers and staff.
• Receive, check, and register shipping applications; tag parcels.
• Receive and store parcels; ensure proper handling for customers.
• Manage facility usage schedules for optimal resources.
• Verify rental items (tools, monitors) and inspect condition.
• Process carry-in/out applications and book relevant runbooks.
• Provide basic remote hand services and maintain run-book logs.
• Send customer notifications for scheduled and emergency maintenance.
• Handle incoming inquiries via phone or email and escalate when needed.
• Keep quality reports on a shift/day/month basis.
• Tape handling: load/unload backup tapes per runbook.
