Job summary

Xcellink Pte Ltd is seeking a Data Center Operations Associate in Singapore to support daily center activities and client-facing tasks. You will patrol, manage access, monitor alarms, and handle shipping/receiving while ensuring accurate records and smooth handovers.

The role requires clear English communication, a basic IT background, and willingness to work rotating shifts. You will coordinate with internal teams and customers to maintain service levels and data integrity.

Qualifications

• ITE certification or diploma is required.
• 1 year of data center or IT support experience preferred.
• Able to follow operation manuals and safety procedures.
• Strong English communication and customer care skills.
• Able to work in shift rotations (8am-8pm or 8pm-8am).

Responsibilities

• Patrol colocation room and record conditions; report irregularities.
• Guide visitors and manage access per procedures.
• Respond to alarms and coordinate resolution with customers.
• Process data center entry/exit applications for staff/customers.
• Handle shipping/receiving: register, tag, and hand parcels to courier.
• Receive and store parcels, tag, and hand to customers.
• Manage facility usage schedules and resources.
• Verify rental items nightly; inspect condition and arrange cleaning/repair.
• Process carry-in/out requests and logging for billing.
• Provide basic remote hands by taking requests and logging work.
• Send maintenance notifications to customers and escalate as needed.
• Handle service desk inquiries via phone/email and route to supervisor.
• Maintain shift reports and performance records.
• Tape handling per runbooks and schedules.
