Profile

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Data Analytics Engineer to support our growing data and reporting capabilities. This role involves working across data engineering, analytics, and automation to ensure seamless data flow, effective reporting solutions, and process efficiency. You will collaborate with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to build data pipelines, support dashboards, and implement automation workflows.

Job Responsibilities

Data Engineering & System Integration

• Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT data pipelines using Python, SQL, and modern orchestration tools.
• Assist in organizing data mapping requirements for integrating internal and external systems.
• Participate in discussions on database structures, data transformation rules, and API interactions.
• Work with engineers to ensure seamless data flow and alignment with business logic.

Power BI Development & Documentation

• Assist analysts in collecting reporting requirements from stakeholders.
• Support the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards, including data cleaning, formatting, and visual setup.
• Document dashboard structures, data sources, transformation logic, and version update procedures for audits and compliance.

Automation & Workflow Optimization

• Collaborate with various departments to identify manual workflows for automation.
• Assist in scoping and building automation tasks (e.g., scheduled report delivery, email alerts).
• Help build and test automation pipelines using Power Automate or basic Python scripting under supervision.

Collaboration & Support

• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and reporting goals.
• Support business users in interpreting data and improving data-driven decision-making.
• Ensure proper documentation, knowledge sharing, and support for data operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in data design, data modeling, or analytics engineering roles.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, especially MySQL.
• Ability to write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
• Basic understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience or coursework in Power BI, Excel, and ETL processes.
• Interest in scripting languages (Python) and automation tools (Power Automate).
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
