Cyber Security Specialist
  • Working Hours: Mon-Fri
  • Working Location: Novena
  • Job Type: Contract
  • Salary Package: Up to $9,000 (basic) + AWS

Responsibilities

  • Develop, review, and maintain IT security policies, action plans, and governance frameworks in line with customer and industry requirements.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement IT security products and solutions across infrastructure environments.
  • Perform risk assessments and ensure compliance with service management standards and security best practices.
  • Establish and manage Security Incident Management processes, including detection, response, investigation, and reporting.
  • Conduct forensic investigations when required, including secure disk imaging and analysis within defined timelines.
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies.
  • Review security alerts and reports from central security tools, providing timely updates and follow-ups.
  • Manage onboarding and inventory of IT assets (servers, networks, databases) into security monitoring tools.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external vendors, security organisations, and government agencies on security matters.
  • Participate in security incident simulations, technical assessments, and improvement initiatives.
