About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and fast-learning CTRM (Commodity Trading & Risk Management) Sales / Project Manager with 1–3 years of relevant experience. This hybrid role combines pre-sales support, client engagement and project coordination, working closely with customers across China and Southeast Asia.

You will develop strong expertise in our CTRM system and act as a product and functional specialist, supporting sales activities, customer onboarding and implementation projects while advising clients on best practices and workflow optimisation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Support & Opportunity Management

  • Support the sales team in qualifying inbound leads and opportunities.

  • Engage prospects from industry events, conferences and networking activities.

  • Assist with system demos, requirements discussions and solution presentations.

  • Prepare proposals, presentations and commercial documentation.

2. Client Engagement & Requirements Analysis

  • Participate in discovery workshops and client onboarding sessions.

  • Translate commodity trading workflows into business and functional requirements.

  • Explain commodity trade lifecycle processes within a CTRM context.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.

3. Project Coordination & Delivery Support

  • Coordinate implementation timelines, milestones and deliverables.

  • Support discovery, configuration, UAT and go-live phases.

  • Work closely with product, engineering and QA teams to ensure smooth delivery.

4. Product Mastery & Functional Advisory

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of CTRM product modules and workflows.

  • Advise clients and internal teams on workflow optimisation and system usage.

  • Assist in interpreting functional issues and recommending solutions.

  • Provide structured feedback and suggestions for product improvement.

5. Market & Product Insights

  • Gather customer feedback and relay insights to the product team.

  • Monitor regional commodity and trading system trends.

  • Represent the company at industry and client events.

6. AI-Enhanced Workflows

  • Use AI tools to improve productivity in proposals, analysis and communication.

  • Identify opportunities where AI can enhance internal or client-facing workflows.

Requirements
  • 1–3 years of experience in commodity operations, CTRM/ETRM, SaaS or project coordination roles.

  • Understanding of the commodity trading lifecycle.

  • Fluent in English and Mandarin (to support clients and stakeholders in China).

  • Willingness to travel to China approximately 30–40% of the time.

  • Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
