We Are Hiring: Creative Fragrance Developer – Manager / Senior Manager / Director Level (Home Care, South & Southeast Asia)
Location: Singapore

We are looking for a Creative Fragrance Developer to join our Consumer Products Evaluation team in Singapore, supporting Home Care categories (Surface Care such as Dish, Floor and Air Care) across Southeast Asia. The level of the position (Manager, Senior Manager, or Director) will be determined based on the candidate’s experience and seniority.

About the Role

As a Creative Fragrance Developer, you will act as an olfactive expert, guiding Perfumers and project teams throughout the fragrance development process. You will collaborate closely with Account Managers, Perfumers, Marketing, Consumer Market Research team, and Laboratory teams, ensuring we deliver winning fragrance solutions that resonate with consumers and support our customers’ brand strategies.

Reporting to the Category Director, Fabric & Home Care, your responsibilities will include:

• Defining and implementing fragrance development strategies and creative processes.
• Leading the olfactive vision for assigned customers and driving proactive and reactive initiatives in all Home Care categories (Surface Care such as Dish, Floor and Air Care).
• Managing and executing multiple complex briefs in close coordination with cross-functional teams.
• Translating Consumer Market Insight (CMI) results into clear olfactive directions for Perfumers.
• Evaluating and prioritizing fragrance submissions for testing, managing stability trials, and troubleshooting with the Lab.
• Collaborating with other regional creative centers and regional teams to support international and cross-regional projects.
• Partnering with the commercial team to align fragrance development with business needs and objectives.
• Conducting competitive olfactive analyses to identify trends and white space opportunities for innovation.
• Representing the creative function in internal and external meetings, including customer presentations.

What We are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 10+ years of experience in the fragrance industry, preferably within Home Care categories (e.g., dishwash, floor cleaners, air care).
• Demonstrated expertise in fragrance development and evaluation, preferably for Home Care formats and across diverse markets, ideally including Asia.
• Contribute to the olfactory analysis of new products to identify interesting notes for creative development.
• Strong consumer understanding and ability to translate insights into fragrance guidelines.
• Track record managing global, regional and local accounts and strategic projects.
• Excellent project management, organizational, and prioritization skills, with a strong sense of ownership and ability to deliver with agility.
• Deep technical knowledge of fragrance behavior and stability across various Home Care applications.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage internal stakeholders and customers alike.
• Ability to operate effectively in a multicultural and collaborative environment.
