Job Description

We invite highly motivated, dynamic professionals to join our growing Corporate Finance practice.

KPMG Corporate Finance, Singapore is a leading provider of mid-market M&A and Capital Advisory services. We advise local and global clients across a wide range of industries on divestments, mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and capital raising (equity and debt). We advise on all stages of a transaction: review of strategy; planning; preparation; pricing; deal structuring, due diligence; negotiations and completion.

KPMG M&A and Capital Advisory has a strong deal pipeline and the selected candidates will be actively involved in day-to-day deal execution and origination activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing buy-side and sell-side M&A services to corporates and private equity funds
  • Participating in meetings and maintaining continual interactions with clients, potential targets/buyers and other professional firms
  • Leading preparations of proposals and discussion materials
  • Conducting detailed financial analysis, valuation, industry research and target/buyer search
  • Preparing information memorandums and management presentations
  • Supporting negotiations and closing procedures

Requirements:

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher academic qualifications
  • Possess more than 8 years of working experience in M&A, capital raising, fund raising, accounting/transaction services, investment banking or relevant services
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and financial modelling, with a good understanding of corporate finance and M&A
  • Regional (specifically Malaysia, Vietnam or Thailand) transaction experience would be an advantage
  • Highly motivated individual with strong problem-solving skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment and work as a team player
