A global financial services company is seeking a Wealth Control Analyst in Singapore. This role involves strengthening the MCA transformation by managing key controls and performing assessments to mitigate operational risks. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in risk and controls management, excellent communication skills, and a strategic mindset, reporting to the Asia South Wealth Controls Head.
The Wealth Control Analyst plays a critical role to strengthen the MCA and ongoing MCA transformation (specifically related to Control Design and Monitoring Design Assessments etc). These are crucial and time sensitive activities in the transformation exercise.
The Wealth Control Analyst is accountable for management of complex /critical/large professional disciplinary areas. The Wealth Control team fosters a culture of control and customer centricity and accountability by leading efforts to identify, anticipate and mitigate regulatory, reputational, and operational risks. This role is responsible for supporting the business in the MCA Program through implementation of effective control design and monitoring strategies to create a robust, comprehensive, and sustainable risk and controls management and monitoring framework.
You will also be performing business self-assessment testing on controls over various Wealth Sales and Distribution activities.
You will also collaborate with Regional and Country MCA coordinators and business process owners and support the identification, design, documentation and assessment of the quality of suites of Key Controls, Monitoring/Assessment mechanisms to mitigate significant operational risk types for Country Consumer.
As a First Line of Defense, you will need to build trusted relationships with Business Leaders, Process Owners, control colleagues as well as Second and Third Line partners.
This role is part of the Singapore Wealth Controls team and reports to Asia South Wealth Controls Head.
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
