A leading charity in Singapore is seeking a Community Care Associate to provide skills training and intervention for persons with intellectual disabilities. The CCA will work closely with clients, caregivers, and professionals to enhance independent living skills and ensure quality support. Candidates should have at least ITE certification, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a team. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on individuals' lives.

Community Care Associate (CCA) provides skills training and intervention to Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (PwIDs) to enhance their independent living skills and participation in the community. The CCA performs person‑centred training and therapy according to the care/training plans developed by social service and/or healthcare professionals under Community Based Support Services (CSS). He/She is responsible for providing quality interaction and care to client.
Community‑Based Support Services (CSS) is the dynamic and nimble service delivery arm in MINDS that responds to emerging needs of PwIDs and Caregivers in the community. Other services include Me Too! Club, Future Care Planning Services, Caregivers Support Services, Special Student Care Centres, and Disability Case Management Programme, MINDS Clinic to enhance community inclusion and participation of caregivers and PWIDs in the community.
CCA plays a pivotal role in the training and well‑being of PwIDS. Using a person‑centred approach, he/she works towards improving their independent living and confidence to enhance client's quality of life. He/she maintains up‑to‑date documentation of clients’ conditions and learning progress.
He/She regularly provides inputs for the development and review of care plans. A caring, respectful, and patient professional, he/she should also be proactive, responsible, accountable, agile and adaptable to different work situations.
CCA also works closely with caregivers and PwIDs and build up client's and family support network with the support of social workers and community partners.
