Job summary

GREYBOX MANAGEMENT (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. seeks a Coffee Operations Manager to oversee coffee quality, beverage consistency, bar operations, and guest experiences. You will lead and mentor baristas, manage schedules, and maintain high service standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role combines advanced coffee expertise with hands-on leadership to sustain a strong coffee culture, training, and ongoing staff development while ensuring hygiene and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of progressive specialty coffee experience.
• Experience as Head Barista, Lead Barista or Café Supervisor.
• Strong knowledge of extraction, brewing parameters, sensory evaluation, TDS, refractometer, milk texturing, and water chemistry.
• Proven ability to lead, train, mentor, and retain barista teams in quality-focused, high-volume environments.
• SCA certifications in Barista Skills, Brewing, or Sensory Skills are highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee coffee quality, dial-ins, parameter setting, equipment calibration, and sensory evaluations.
• Lead, train, and mentor baristas in hospitality, teamwork, and operational discipline.
• Manage daily bar operations: prep, inventory, stock rotation, wastage tracking, and maintenance logs.
• Enhance guest experience by sharing coffee origins, brewing methods, and product knowledge.
