Job summary

HATSUMI FOOD PTE. LTD. seeks a seasoned Head Barista to own and elevate our coffee program and front-of-house beverage operations in Singapore. This senior role requires a passion for quality, mentorship, and hands-on leadership to maintain exacting standards and guest satisfaction.

You will lead a skilled team, manage equipment, calibrations, and supplier relations while upholding hygiene and safety. A proactive mentor ready to drive excellence and guest delight is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in the specialty coffee industry, with substantial leadership roles.
• In-depth understanding of extraction mechanics, sensory analysis, milk texturing, and water chemistry.
• Proven ability to build, train, and retain cohesive bar teams in high-volume environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead coffee excellence, calibration, and quality assurance across all drinks.
• Mentor and train the barista team, design structured training modules and optimize guest communication.
• Oversee bar operations, inventory, supplier relations, and hygiene standards.
• Drive guest experience, brand advocacy, and community engagement.
