We are seeking an experienced ICT Infrastructure Engineer (Cloud) to support a large-scale cloud transformation program within a statutory board. This role involves providing technical support, troubleshooting, and managing cloud-based infrastructure and services to ensure security, reliability, and scalability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to implement best practices, strengthen compliance, and optimize cloud usage.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cloud-based infrastructure and services (compute, storage, networking, and security).
• Work closely with application, infrastructure, and security teams to resolve complex cloud service issues.
• Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and security of cloud environments, proactively addressing potential risks.
• Drive cloud automation initiatives, improving efficiency, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
• Implement cloud security controls, governance frameworks, and compliance standards.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, operating procedures, and best practices.
• Participate in planning and deploying cloud solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry standards.
• Keep up to date with emerging cloud technologies, security standards, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer / ICT Infrastructure Engineer (Cloud), with strong knowledge of AWS and Azure platforms.
• Hands-on expertise with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform; scripting experience (Python, Bash) is an advantage.
• Good understanding of cloud networking, infrastructure services, and security best practices.
• Familiarity with compliance and governance frameworks in cloud deployments.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• More than 8 years of experience in ICT Infrastructure / Cloud engineering roles.
• Experience across both Linux and Windows environments.
• Prior experience working in large-scale or government/financial institutions is a plus.
