A leading healthcare company in Singapore is looking for a professional to assist in spine surgeries, providing product knowledge and technical support in operating theaters. The ideal candidate will have a nursing diploma or degree, along with 2 to 3 years of experience in medical or orthopedic settings. Responsibilities include training end-users on equipment and troubleshooting service during surgeries, ensuring that operations run smoothly. Ideal candidates should have a strong understanding of regulatory guidelines and be SNB registered.

Job Dimension

Fundamentally, this role is intended to assist the spine team by assisting in the operation theater to provide product knowledge to ensure that the operation was carried out smoothly.

  • Responsible for supporting spine surgeries in private hospitals by scrubbing out to handle our instrumentation and restructured hospitals by providing guidance to the nurses on how to handle our instrumentation.
  • Prepare and implement in-service training for customers ensuring curriculum are current and appropriate.
Main Purpose
  • To support surgeries that requires in-depth knowledge of the spine instrument and products.
  • Able to troubleshoot service and provide technical support to end users.
  • Deliver in-service and basic applications training at hospitals, seminars or whichever such activity of the sales cycle.
Key Accountabilities
  • Pre sales and post sales
    Perform in-service for demo and evaluations
  • Education
    Train and educate end-users on equipment usage
    Provide application and technical training for and end-users
Experience and Knowledge
  • At least 2 to 3 years’ service experience in medical equipment experience preferred
  • Ability to function well under pressure and expand effort to meet schedules and deadlines
Qualifications
  • Diploma or Degree in Nursing or relevance with minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience from a medical or similar industry
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in orthopedic OT or medical device & Pharma industry setting
  • Orthopedic scrub nurse or previous sales experience in medical device will have added advantage
  • Systems are primarily used in the operating room, so healthcare/surgical setting experience is preferred
  • SNB registered with a valid practicing certificate
  • Awareness of regulatory guidelines and radiation safety is preferred
