Job summary

ICON MEDICAL CLINIC is seeking a Clinic Assistant to provide receptionist duties, assist doctors with clinical work, and manage administrative tasks at a Lakeside-area clinic. The role involves handling registrations, appointments, and payments while supporting daily clinic operations.

Responsibilities include assisting with basic clinical procedures, monitoring stock, and maintaining a clean, orderly environment.

Qualifications

• Prior working experience in a medical clinic is preferred.
• Candidates without clinic experience are welcome if they are willing to learn.
• Responsible, hardworking and trustworthy.
• Good customer service skills and a high level of integrity.
• Willing to learn and work as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills and good communication abilities.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin to communicate with Mandarin-speaking patients and visitors.
• Available to commence work immediately or on short notice.
• Singapore Citizen / Permanent Resident / Work Permit candidates are welcome to apply.

• Provide receptionist duties at the front counter, including registering patients, answering calls and enquiries, and managing appointments.
• Prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of the doctor.
• Handle cashiering duties, including collecting payments, maintaining payment records, filing claims, and submitting eClaims.
• Perform general administrative and filing duties.
• Assist doctors with clinical duties, including chaperoning, ECG, vision testing, nebulisation, assisting with minor procedures, and other basic clinical procedures as required.
• Monitor clinic inventory and stock levels.
• Assist with ordering medicines, medical supplies, stationery and other clinic equipment.
• Ensure the clinic is clean, hygienic and well maintained.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.

Key responsibilities

• Provide receptionist duties at the front counter, including registering patients, answering telephone calls and enquiries, and managing appointments

• Prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of the doctor

• Handle cashiering duties, including collecting payments, maintaining payment records, filing relevant claims, and submitting eClaims through the relevant claim portals

• Perform general administrative and filing duties

• Assist doctors with clinical duties, including chaperoning, ECG, vision testing, nebulisation, assisting with minor procedures, and other basic clinical procedures as required

• Assist with ordering medicines, medical supplies, stationery and other clinic equipment
