Claims Executive
Job Responsibilities:
  • Handle and manage all classes of insurance claims like WICA, Contractor/Engineering All Risks, Public Liability, Travel, Motor, PA, Maid, Home & etc.
  • Manage and oversee to ensure accurate and prompt claims processing within stipulated turnaround timeline
  • Access policy liability, compute and determine claim amount payable based on policy cover and in accordance to management guidelines
  • Manage phone and email enquiries and attend to walk-in policyholders / claimants in relations to claims and payment status according to Company procedures
  • Attend to email enquiries and correspondences on claims and payment status
  • Assess simple travel claims within the policy liability and in accordance to management guidelines
  • Contribute to roundtable discussions for new products developments and suggestions to implement procedures for claims handling to create a positive customer experience
  • Study claims history and highlight to Superior any abnormalities or repeated complaints
  • Review existing work processes to streamline and improve operational efficiency
  • Prepare claims statistics and reports required by the Management
Job Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma or Degree with General Insurance (BCP, PGI & ComGI) certificates with at least 5 years of hands‑on experience in commercial lines claims
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Words & Outlook) is a must and AS400 will be an advantage
  • Meticulous with attention to details and good analytical skills
  • Customer-oriented, excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Able to multi-task, work independently and as a team and within schedule
