Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a senior structural engineer with extensive LNG and oil/gas project experience. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years in the field, including at least 5 years in a lead role, and be knowledgeable about international codes and standards. Familiarity with local projects in Southeast Asia is beneficial. Competitive salary of $7,000-$8,000 negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Job description

• Bachelor of Science (or equivalent degree) in structural engineering from an accredited university with minimum15 years relevant experience in LNG & oil/gas projects.
• Must have minimum 5 years in similar lead role in major LNG & oil/gas projects.
• Must be fully familiar with international codes & standards to be applied during EPC phase of projects.
• Candidate shall have the thorough knowledge of software to be generally used during design and engineering phase of the Work.
• In particular, experience in projects done in South east Asia will be added qualification for the work.
• Experience in LNG and oil & gas projects is mandatory.
• Local Singaporeans and PRs are desirable
• For foreign candidates: must currently hold valid passes in Singapore and have prior work experience in Singapore, along with relevant LNG and oil & gas project experience.

Location: Ubi/ Jurong Port

Salary:$7,000- $8,000 plus or minus (negotiable based on experience and qualifications)
