Job description

The ideal candidate for this role should ideally hold an MBA/MFS or relevant graduate degree with a minimum of 10 years of work experience. Candidates with prior experience in leading sales teams within the Financial Services, Private Banking, Wealth Management or Asset Management sectors are preferred.As the person in charge, your primary responsibilities will include driving revenue generation, business growth, and market share gains for the company. You will be tasked with developing and executing a medium-term business plan that aligns with the Group Strategy of ensuring ethical, sustainable, and profitable growth. Building a strong sales and business development strategy, exploring new product development, expanding into new geographical areas, and finalizing tie-ups with financial product manufacturers will also be key aspects of your role.Your role will involve developing and motivating a focused sales team, devising sales strategies and campaigns, and implementing a metrics-driven approach to sales incentives, performance management, rewards, and recognition. Regular reporting to the leadership team on progress against the business plan, risks, and support required will be essential. Additionally, staying ahead of market trends by interpreting customer, market, and technology trends and providing feedback to the leadership team will be crucial.Key Skills required for this role include the ability to lead and manage teams effectively, a customer and result-oriented approach, strong relationships and connections in the financial product distribution domain, in-depth knowledge of capital market products targeted at HNI and retail investors, a thorough understanding of Mutual Fund products, excellent verbal communication skills, and strong problem-solving abilities.This position is based in Goa, India.,
