Job summary

A leading hospitality group in Singapore is seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to manage a designated section of the kitchen. Job Summary

The Chef de Partie is responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen and ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation. This role requires strong culinary skills, organization, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team under pressure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take full responsibility for a designated kitchen section (e.g. grill, sauce, pastry, or larder)

  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to the restaurant’s standards

  • Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation at all times

  • Supervise and support Commis Chefs and Kitchen Assistants in your section

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation

  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations

  • Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimizing waste

  • Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations

  • Contribute ideas for menu development and improvements when required

Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or strong experience as a Commis Chef

  • Solid knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment

  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

  • Good time management and attention to detail

  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards

  • Culinary qualification (preferred but not always required)
