Qualifications

Our Client is a residential home supporting teenage girls from trauma backgrounds, is looking for a compassionate and experienced Case Worker to join their dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide casework and counselling support to teenage girls in a residential setting
  • Conduct needs and risk assessments; develop and implement Individual Care Plans (ICP)
  • Liaise and collaborate with external partners, including schools, agencies, and medical professionals
  • Support restorative work between residents and their families, and conduct family counselling
  • Monitor residents’ progress and incidents; maintain accurate case records
  • Participate in weekly Disciplinary Committee conferences and ensure follow-through
  • Plan and conduct group work sessions and life skills workshops for residents and/or their families
  • Evaluate and coordinate external classes, workshops, and talks relevant to residents
  • Prepare reports and undertake duties as assigned by the Head of Home
Requirements:
  • Minimum Diploma qualification, preferably in Psychology or related field
  • 3 years of casework experience (5 years preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Passionate about supporting and empowering vulnerable youth
