Job description

Autism Resource Centre (Singapore) or ARC(S) is a non-profit charity organisation dedicated to serving children and adults on the autism spectrum, to help these individuals lead meaningful and independent lives in society. ARC(S) offers a range of services and resources tailored to meet the growing concerns and needs of the autism community.

As part of our continuum of services, we run a Residential Programme coupled with a supported living and training centre, and we invite passionate people to join us in transforming the lives entrusted to us.

As a Case Worker under our Residential Programme, your Impact and Contribution includes:

  1. Plan and manage casework for clients
  • Act as the key liaison person for adults and families
  • Conduct intake interviews and assessments in different settings
  • Develop individualised client plans for residential services
  • Maintain proper records of cases and monitor client progress

2. Provide intervention services for clients in multiple settings

  • Support clients on the autism spectrum through basic counselling or mentoring
  • Implement programmes and activities to promote independence and quality of life

3. Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders

  • Work closely with residential coaches to track and drive progress of clients
  • Collaborate with community resources to provide support for client and family
  • Diploma or Degree in Social Work / Psychology / Counselling
  • At least 1 to 2 years of casework and counselling experience
  • Good interpersonal and relational skills
  • Comfortable to work under ambiguity
  • Passion to work with individuals on the autism spectrum
