BS or higher degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Biotechnology, or related Life Science is required.
Demonstrated skills and knowledge in problem solving, stakeholder management, analytical methods, equipment handling, process and validation, as well as protocol and report writing and execution.
Written and spoken fluency in English.

The Career Conversion Programme (CCP) (Train-and-Place with Commitment to Hire) for Advanced Biopharmaceuticals Manufacturing Executives/Professionals is a talent development programme aimed at building the next generation of skilled manpower for Singapore’s Biopharmaceuticals manufacturing industry in anticipation of hiring demand.

As an Operations Engineer, you will provide process and technical support to the Manufacturing Operations Teams (Fermentation and Purification Operations) to help the Value Stream achieve its operational objectives. Your areas of support will include deviation investigations, process and equipment troubleshooting, CAPA management, change management, GMP documentation revision, QMS gap analysis, and risk assessment of technical topics. You will also lead continuous improvement projects and process optimization efforts. In this role, you will ensure smooth and continuous production by resolving process issues and implementing process improvements. You will collaborate with Engineering, MSAT, Supply Chain Management, Quality Control, and Quality Assurance teams to maintain controlled and compliant processes. This includes identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions, optimizing efficiency through process improvements, reducing process variability, and minimizing costs while upholding high standards of quality.
