Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in café, restaurant or hospitality operations.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Confident in leading a team and taking charge during service.
• Friendly and approachable with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day café operations and ensure smooth service.
• Support the Café Manager in front-of-house supervision and service.
• Lead the team during service and oversee daily running of the café.
• Welcome guests and maintain a warm, consistent guest experience.
• Ensure high standards of service, cleanliness, and presentation.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve service issues professionally.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures and cash handling.
• Manage cashiering, POS and daily sales procedures as required.
• Assist with stock receiving, inventory checks and ordering.
• Support SOPs, service standards, and staff training.
• Help with staff scheduling and manpower planning.
• Coordinate with kitchen for smooth front-back-of-house operations.
• Assist with events, promotions and activations when required.
• Step up to oversee café in Café Manager’s absence.
