Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day café operations and ensure smooth service.
• Support the Café Manager in front-of-house supervision and service.
• Lead the team during service and oversee daily running of the café.
• Welcome guests and maintain a warm, consistent guest experience.
• Ensure high standards of service, cleanliness, and presentation.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve service issues professionally.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures and cash handling.
• Manage cashiering, POS and daily sales procedures as required.
• Assist with stock receiving, inventory checks and ordering.
• Support SOPs, service standards, and staff training.
• Help with staff scheduling and manpower planning.

About the Role

We’re looking for an Assistant Café Manager to join us as part of an exciting new F&B concept in Singapore.

You’ll work closely with the Café Manager and wider management team to help build and run the café from the ground up — from setting up service standards and daily operations to training the team and creating a welcoming experience for every guest.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys being on the floor, working with people and making sure things run smoothly.

The Role

• Assist with the day‑to‑day operations of the café.
• Support the Café Manager in overseeing front‑of‑house operations and service.
• Lead the team during service and ensure smooth day‑to‑day running of the café.
• Welcome and engage with guests, ensuring a warm and consistent experience.
• Maintain high standards of service, cleanliness and presentation.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve service issues professionally.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Manage cashiering, POS and daily sales procedures where required.
• Assist with stock receiving, inventory checks and ordering.
• Monitor service supplies and ensure the café is properly stocked and ready for service.
• Support the implementation of SOPs and service standards.
• Train and coach new and existing team members.
• Assist with staff scheduling and manpower planning.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth coordination between front and back of house.
• Support events, promotions and special activations when required.
• Assist the Café Manager with administrative and operational tasks.
• Step up to oversee the café in the Café Manager’s absence.

What We’re Looking For
