Job summary

The role requires hands-on coffee equipment knowledge, strong leadership, and the ability to optimise staffing and costs during busy periods. A diploma or certificate in F&B or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in F&B, hospitality, or related field.
• 3–5 years of cafe/F&B operations experience.
• Strong customer service orientation and people skills.
• Solid operational, communication, and team management abilities.
• Hands-on knowledge of coffee equipment and maintenance basics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage overall café operations in line with SOPs and regulations.
• Be hands-on during service to support FOH, beverage prep and service.
• Drive business by managing daily sales, labour, and costs.
• Oversee beverage and food preparation quality and speed of service.
• Plan and schedule manpower for peak periods.
• Maintain knowledge of coffee equipment and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Coach staff and foster growth mindset to boost engagement.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and workplace safety standards.
