Job summary

A construction and design consultancy in Singapore is seeking a professional to prepare shop drawings, supervise 2D drafting, and ensure quality control. The ideal candidate will have good knowledge in AUTOCAD drafting and experience in a construction firm or design consultancy. Responsibilities include liaising with design disciplines and adhering to submission schedules.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of reading Architectural, C&S and MEP services drawings.
• Experience in a construction firm or design consultancy is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the production of 2D drawings with accuracy.
• Coordinate the quality of production of all submission drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare shop drawings based on approved working drawings.
• Knowledge of reading Architectural, C&S and MEP services drawings.
• Knowledge of checking shop drawing is an advantage.
• Good to have knowledge of standards, guidelines, code of practice of local agencies in Singapore e.g., BCA, LTA, PUB etc
• Able to liaise with others design disciplines.
• Able to coordinate and be responsible for the quality of production of all submission drawings.
• Supervise the production of 2D drawings with accuracy ensuring drawings produced are according to the Office or the Client’s Drafting Standards and Procedures, and the drawing submission schedule is achieved.
• Work under the supervision of Engineer and perform work task assigned.

Requirements

• Good knowledge in AUTOCAD drafting.
• Good communication skills.
• Experienced in working in a construction firm or in a design consultancy.
