The Audiology and Business Development Specialist serves as a key connection between clinical expertise and strategic growth in Southern Southeast Asia (Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, and Indonesia). This role combines clinical training, support, collaboration, and business development initiatives to promote Advanced Bionics technologies and drive market expansion in the region. The specialist is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives, managing key accounts, and identifying new business opportunities while ensuring seamless introduction and adoption of new products across the territory.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Sales & Business Development (40%)

  • Revenue Generation & Account Management
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve annual revenue targets of $2M+ across assigned territory
  • Manage and grow key accounts including major hospitals, ENT clinics, and audiology centers
  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis and competitive intelligence to identify growth opportunities
  • Develop territory expansion strategies targeting underserved markets and emerging opportunities
  • New Business Development
  • Identify and pursue new market segments
  • Establish strategic partnerships with local distributors and professional associations
  • Lead tender submissions and RFP responses for institutional sales opportunities
  • Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for new product launches
  • Create business cases and ROI analyses for prospective clients

2. Clinical Education and Training (25%)

  • Conduct comprehensive training programs for distributor staff and healthcare professionals on Advanced Bionics products, features, and technologies
  • Develop a framework for ongoing training, ensuring seamless introduction and adoption of new products across the region
  • Provide expert support to healthcare providers during case reviews, troubleshooting, and on-site assistance during surgeries
  • Design and deliver clinical workshops, webinars, and certification programs
  • Mentor and develop local clinical champions to drive product advocacy

3. Customer Engagement & Relationship Management (20%)

  • Build and nurture relationships with key opinion leaders, clinicians, and healthcare institutions to foster trust and collaboration
  • Represent Advanced Bionics at conferences, workshops, and industry events, sharing insights on cochlear implant technology
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to develop customer-specific promotional materials and campaigns

4. Market Intelligence & Strategic Planning (15%)

  • Monitor market trends and competitive activities to adapt and optimize business approaches
  • Conduct detailed market assessments to identify growth potential and barriers
  • Develop competitive positioning strategies and value propositions
  • Create quarterly business reviews and market intelligence reports for Manager
Qualifications

Diploma/degree in Audiology or Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field

3~5 years of experience in business development, public relation, or marketing (B2B preferred); cochlear implant experience a plus

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English (and other regional languages a plus)
  • Proactive, independent, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Willing to travel regionally as required
