NEXTBEAT SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is expanding into the corporate office and workplace transformation market and is creating a brand-new hunter-type Business Development Manager role to lead growth from the ground up.

Based in the Central Business District, the position offers a negotiable monthly salary up to SGD 7,000 with annual and medical leave benefits, plus transport expense reimbursement. The role requires Mandarin proficiency and a proven track record in securing new clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of B2B sales or business development experience.
• Self-driven and able to work independently.
• Must set own targets with an execution plan.
• Ability to articulate track record and sales approach clearly.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Background in commercial real estate brokerage, office leasing or tenant representation.
• Experience in property/facility management, construction, interior fit-out, or sales into logistics/healthcare/IT sectors.
• Proficiency in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new office fit-out, renovation and workplace transformation opportunities (full cycle: lead generation, pitching, negotiation, closing).
• Catch office relocation and repositioning plans of Singapore-based corporates early, and position the firm ahead of the tender.
• Build referral networks with commercial real estate agencies, office leasing teams, tenant representatives, property/facility management firms, architects and consultants.
• Approach growth sectors in Singapore (example: logistics, healthcare/clinics and IT companies).
• Prepare proposals and market insights, leveraging AI and digital tools.

Our client is a leading Japanese interior design & build firm with over 35 years of history in Singapore and a project portfolio spanning department stores, specialty retail, F&B and corporate spaces across Asia (Japan, Taiwan, China, Vietnam and Malaysia).

As the firm expands into the corporate office and workplace transformation market, they are creating a brand-new position for a hunter-type Business Development Manager to lead this expansion from the ground up.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Identify and develop new office fit-out, renovation and workplace transformation opportunities (full cycle: lead generation, pitching, negotiation, closing)
