We are looking for an energetic and strategic Business Development & Training Manager to play a pivotal role in expanding our Financial Advisory (FA) channel and nurturing the success of our advisors.
This role blends business growth and people development — ideal for someone who thrives on driving results, building relationships, and shaping high-performing teams in the financial services sector.
Identify and develop new business opportunities to accelerate growth within the FA channel.
Drive recruitment of high-potential Financial Advisors to expand the firm’s distribution network.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product, Compliance) to support advisor success.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify strategic growth opportunities.
Build and manage partnerships to expand outreach, strengthen brand presence, and enhance service offerings.
Track performance metrics to ensure the FA team meets or exceeds sales and business development targets.
Design and implement performance strategies and incentive plans to boost team motivation and productivity.
Design and deliver comprehensive onboarding programs for new Financial Advisors.
Conduct regular training workshops covering sales techniques, compliance, financial products, and client engagement.
Provide one-on-one coaching and mentorship to help FAs achieve personal and team sales goals.
Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
Stay up to date with evolving financial regulations to ensure all training materials remain compliant.
Partner closely with team leaders and management to align training outcomes with business objectives.
Diploma in Business, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the financial services industry.
Prior experience as a trainer or coach in the financial sector is a strong advantage.
Proven ability in consultative and value-based selling with a record of closing high-level deals.
Excellent account management, negotiation, and communication skills.
Strong interpersonal abilities with a passion for developing people and driving performance.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
