Our client is a leading electric motor sales and repair company and one of Japan's top manufacturers of portable power tools. They specialize in the wholesale and distribution of electric power tools, along with related spares and accessories, to end users.

The Business Development Executive (Outdoor Power Equipment) role focuses on supporting sales and marketing expansion within the outdoor power equipment sector.

You will report to the Assistant Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Business Development
    • Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, networking, and sales leads
    • Support the sales team in planning and executing sales strategies
    • Conduct competitor and market trend analysis
    • Build and maintain relationships with new clients
    • Actively pursue new clients through cold calling, canvassing, and business outreach
    • Conduct product demonstrations for potential customers
    • Participate in roadshows, exhibitions, and marketing events
    • Achieve monthly sales targets
  • Sales Coordination
    • Assist the sales team with daily operational activities
    • Organize and plan daily sales tasks
    • Follow up on sales enquiries and leads
    • Prepare documents, sales reports, and presentation materials using Microsoft Office
    • Assist with administrative or support duties assigned by superiors

Requirements & Preferences
  • Must
    • Minimum qualification: ITE or Polytechnic diploma in any field
    • At least 2 years of B2B sales experience with industrial clients
    • Proficiency in English and Mandarin is required to liaise with Mandarin-speaking distributors and stakeholders
    • Possess a valid Class 3 or 3A driver’s license for client visits and equipment transportation
  • Advantageous
    • Experience with power tools, outdoor equipment, or robotic motors
    • Ability to start immediately or on short notice
