SEARCH INDEX PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a proactive Business Development / Sales Hunter to drive local freight forwarding opportunities. You will identify prospects, tailor logistics solutions, and build long-term partnerships.

The role emphasizes meeting revenue targets, preparing competitive proposals, and collaborating with Operations to deliver excellent service in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years hunting sales in freight forwarding/logistics.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in hunting responsibilities.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Self-driven, motivated and comfortable in a fast-paced, target oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify, pursue, and secure new local business opportunities.
• Implement strategic plans to meet revenue targets and explore emerging market.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and tailor logistics solutions for satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
• Maintain regular contact with customers to build rapport and market intelligence.
• Prepare competitive quotations and proposals.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales reports to the Manager.
• Achieve individual sales targets and KPIs.
• Provide support to the Operations Team when required.

Job Scope:

• Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities locally
• Implementing strategic plans to meet revenue targets and explore emerging market
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understand their needs, and provide tailored logistics solutions to ensure high customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships
• Maintain close contact with customers regularly in order to build a strong rapport for more business support and market intelligence
• Prepare competitive quotations and proposals
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales reports to the Manager
• Achieve individual sales targets and exceed key performance metrics (KPIs)
• Provide support to the Operations Team when required

Requirements:

• Degree / Diploma in Business and/or related field
• 3-4 years of strong hunting sales and business development experiences in the Freight Forwarding / Logistic / Shipping industry
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in hunting responsibilities
• Possess strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skill
• Strong follow-up and effective negotiation skills
• Self-driven, motivated, and comfortable working in a fast paced, target oriented environment.
