Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of sales experience in Freight Forwarding (Air & Ocean).
• Proven hunting and new business generation track record.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive, independent, team player.
• Own client portfolio preferred.

Responsibilities

• Source and close new sales opportunities via calls, networking, and existing client base.
• Manage full sales cycle from lead gen to contract closure.
• Develop long-term relationships with clients.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to client needs.
• Meet and exceed sales targets consistently.
• Collaborate with Head of Sales on business development and CRM reporting.

About the role
Scan-Shipping Pte Ltd is on the lookout for a highly motivated Hunter Sales Executive to drive growth in both Air & Ocean freight services. What You’ll Be Doing

• Proactively source and close new sales opportunities through cold calls, networking, and leveraging your own client database.

• Manage the full sales cycle – from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.

• Develop strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients.

• Provide excellent customer service and respond promptly to client needs.

• Consistently achieve and exceed individual sales targets.

• Work closely with the Head of Sales on business development strategies and submit CRM reports regularly.

What We’re Looking For

• Higher Secondary/Pre-U/‘A’ Level, Diploma, or Degree qualifications.

• Minimum 1 year of sales experience in Freight Forwarding (Air & Ocean).

• Proven track record of hunting, generating new business, and achieving sales targets.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

• Proactive, independent, and driven to succeed, while also being a team player.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

• Candidates with their own client portfolio are highly preferred.
