Job summary

SEARCH INDEX PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a proactive Business Development professional to lead hunting sales in the freight forwarding sector. You will identify opportunities, craft proposals, and secure new customers to drive revenue.

You will build strong relationships, present tailored logistics solutions, and collaborate with operations to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term partnerships in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of hunting sales and business development experience in Freight Forwarding / Logistics / Shipping.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in hunting responsibilities.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Job Scope:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understand their needs, and provide tailored logistics solutions to ensure high customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships
• Maintain close contact with customers regularly in order to build a strong rapport for more business support and market intelligence

• Achieve individual sales targets and exceed key performance metrics (KPIs)
• Provide support to the Operations Team when required

Requirements:

• Degree / Diploma in Business and/or related field
• 3-4 years of strong hunting sales and business development experiences in the Freight Forwarding / Logistic / Shipping industry
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in hunting responsibilities
• Possess strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skill
• Strong follow-up and effective negotiation skills
• Self-driven, motivated, and comfortable working in a fast paced, target oriented environment.
