About the Role:

We’re looking for an experienced Technical Sales Engineer with a strong background in laser micromachining to expand our market presence in Singapore and the region. This is a unique opportunity to combine technical expertise and business development in a niche, high-growth industry.

  2. Act as a technical consultant, recommending the right laser solutions (UV, fiber, CO₂).

  3. Build long-term customer partnerships and drive sales strategy.

  4. Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals.

  5. Collaborate with technical teams to deliver customized solutions.

  6. Travel across the region for client visits and industry events.

Job Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.

  2. Minimum 5 years of sales experience in laser, semiconductor, or precision manufacturing.

  3. Strong understanding of laser micromachining, automation systems, and Industry 4.0 applications.

  4. Excellent communication skills (Mandarin proficiency preferred).

  5. Proven track record in technical sales, negotiations, and closing deals.

Nice-to-Have Skills
  1. Experience with CNC systems, vision systems, or automation in laser applications.

  2. Knowledge of UV lasers, fiber lasers, and CO₂ lasers.

  3. Existing network of contacts in semiconductor and electronics sectors in Singapore/Malaysia.
