Job summary

A facility management company based in Singapore is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician to ensure the upkeep of facilities. Responsibilities include conducting routine checks on electrical and air-conditioning systems, liaising with contractors for maintenance, and supervising renovations. Ideal candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in building maintenance, possess NTC education, and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills. This position offers a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, with alternate Saturdays required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in building maintenance and facilities support.
• Certificate in Building Maintenance/Building Inspection is an advantage.

Job Description

• Maintain the facilities with routine checks on electrical, air-conditioning systems, compressed air and chilled-water systems.
• Contact and work with contractors for routine servicing and emergency repair in order to keep the building in daily operational state.
• Supervise vendors during renovation in order to ensure a smooth transition to new areas.
• Maintain good housekeeping in AHU and switch room to maintain cleanliness of equipment and site.
• Work with contractors and vendors to carry out schedules and supervise work on premises to ensure quality cost effective repairs and renovation.
• Must be able to hands on to carry out repair for sanitary and plumbing works, electrical works and building works.
• Must be able to carry out simple fault finding for telephone lines.

Job Requirement

• Minimum NTC education in Facilities / Electrical / Mechanical / Building Services with 2 years of experience in building maintenance and facilities support.
• Certificate in Building Maintenance/Building Inspection will be an added advantage.
• Good problem solving skills.
• Be able to work under pressure and multitask.

Working Hours

Mondays to Fridays : 09:00am to 18:00pm

Alternate Saturdays : 09:00am to 1:00pm
