A leading energy company is seeking a Senior Biofuels Feedstock Originator based in Singapore. Our client is a major global integrated energy company. They seek to hire a Senior Biofuels Feedstock Originator to be based in Singapore and grow their renewable biofuels feedstock origination footprint in Asia Pacific. The individual in this role will be accountable for building a biofuels feedstocks business throughout Asia, with a focus on waste-based feedstocks, to supply one of their new biofuels production plants in Europe. Initially the role will focus on feedstock supply and trading around the growing HVO (hydrotreated vegetable oil) portfolio.
Synopsis:
As a feedstock business developer, you will be accountable to help build a biofuels feedstocks business, with a focus on waste/novel based feedstocks, to supply our clients growing portfolio of low carbon fuels production plants; initially the role will focus on feedstock supply and trading around the growing HVO (hydrotreated vegetable oil) portfolio; long-term the team will also need to supply new and novel feedstocks to a growing range of low carbon fuels processes. Your specific focus will be to short term offtakes, and long-term structured partnerships with an array of feedstock suppliers to meet their growing feedstock needs.
You will report to the Head of Bios, LPG, Naphtha and Petrochemicals Asia and sit within the clients Trading and Supply organization. You will work with and support a global team of deal makers, traders, business development managers, supply chain developers and project managers.
