Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking a BIM Manager to oversee the BIM department and its operations. Responsibilities
  • BIM Manager is responsible for the overall BIM department and its operations.
  • Manage and lead deployment of BIM resources effectively.
  • Implement all the procedures in BIM and digital construction during the design, construction, and handover of a project.
  • Leads and supports the use of technology to create BIMs in architecture, engineering and construction sector
  • Implement, track and drive productivity KPIs
  • Responsible for all new hiring, i.e, interviews, skills test and induction, engagement and assessment
  • Adherence to safety practices in the work place.
  • Ability to effectively lead and motivate team members positively
  • Ability to manage stakeholders’ expectations, adept with conflict resolution and problem solving.
Requirements
  • Minimum Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognized University
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in projects with contract value minimum of 100 million, preferably to have been full time assigned on project or has led a major aspect of the project.
  • Comfortable working within a fast-changing environment, ability to multi-task and cope with ambiguity
  • Strong communication and interpersonal ability, coupled with influencing skills
  • Independent and a self-starter, with strong personal drive to initiate and implement
  • Proficient in the understanding of the requirements of relevant authorities (ie BCA, SCDF, LTA)
  • Proficient in technical knowledge of construction and materials.
