Job summary

Carlton City Hotel Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Concierge/Porter to supervise the Bell team and ensure smooth front-office operations on-site in Singapore.

The role involves training, task delegation, and maintaining high grooming standards to present a polished lobby experience. Key duties include coordinating porters, managing entrance activities, handling guest inquiries, and ensuring equipment functionality under supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience as Porter is a plus.
• Immaculate grooming and professional appearance.
• Strong interpersonal skills and approachable manner.
• Familiarity with Opera PMS System preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train the Bell team, ensuring fair task delegation and grooming standards.

• Maintain and oversee cleanliness and organization of the lobby, driveway, and baggage room, including audits and inventory checks.
• Handle guest inquiries related to local tours and directions in the absence of the Concierge.
• Ensure the functionality of concierge equipment and perform additional front office duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.
• Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management.

• To maintain and oversee the cleanliness and organization of the lobby, driveway, and baggage room, including audits and inventory checks.
• To handle guest inquiries related to local tours and directions in the absence of the Concierge.
• To ensure the functionality of concierge equipment and perform additional front office duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.
• To carry out any other duties and responsibilities as and when assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Prior experience as Porter will be a plus.
• Well-groomed and immaculate appearance.
• Possess good interpersonal skills and pleasant disposition.
• Knowledge on Opera PMS System preferred.
