Job Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Junior Blockchain Developer to join our team and contribute to building the bank’s next-generation digital money and tokenized asset infrastructure. You will work closely with experienced engineers across Payments, Custody, and DDEx to learn and support the delivery of secure, scalable, and regulatory-compliant blockchain solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of secure, scalable infrastructure for digital custody and exchange operations.
• Assist in the design and implementation of smart contracts for tokenized deposits and real‑world asset (RWA) tokenization on Layer 1/2 Ethereum based networks.
• Collaborate with transaction banking and digital payments teams to support the integration of blockchain‑based settlement systems.
• Contribute to technical tasks for tokenized deposits, on‑chain payments, and real‑world asset tokenization initiatives.
• Assist in building middleware and APIs integrating blockchain networks with core banking and payment systems.
• Actively learn from senior engineers and contribute to best practices for blockchain development and deployment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of software engineering experience.
• Demonstrated eagerness to learn and grow in the blockchain space.
• Foundational understanding of programming concepts and data structures.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive attitude.
• Familiarity with at least one programming language such as Java, Python, KDB, or TypeScript.

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with Solidity or other smart contract languages.
• Basic understanding of blockchain concepts, decentralized finance (DeFi), or tokenization standards (e.g., ERC‑20).
• Any prior experience with blockchain projects (personal or academic) or contributions to open‑source initiatives.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools and platforms like OCP, Kubernetes, or AWS services (EC2/ECS/EKS).
• Familiarity with backend technologies such as Node.js (TypeScript) or Java Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Redis, and message queues like Kafka/SQS.
• Understanding of Docker and monitoring tools like Prometheus/Datadog.
• Basic knowledge of cryptographic signing patterns such as Multisig, KMS/HSM/MPC.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and networking concepts (e.g., reverse proxy).
